Description

Vrindavan, The land of Krishna's beautiful childhood pastimes is struggling with the problem of dirtiness. On a sad note, overflowing drains, untidily scattered garbage and littered streets are what greet the thousands of pilgrims of this holy place every year.

In an attempt to revive the glory of Sridham Vrindavan, PurohitJan Foundation has taken the initiative to Keep Vrindavan clean. We have joined hands with local bodies to create a system-level change in this holy and historical town. Although, which is obviously not a one-man job and it requires the support and cooperation of its residents, shopkeepers & all the tourists who visit the town.

So we have started working in the right direction for the same with the "Clean Vrindavan Campaign".

The "Clean Vrindavan" Campaign aims to improve cleanliness and sanitation in the holy town of Vrindavan. The campaign focuses on the following matters:

1. Solid waste management: Collection, segregation, and disposal of solid waste to maintain a clean environment.

2. Sanitation and hygiene: Improving sanitation facilities and promoting personal hygiene among residents and visitors.

3. River Bank conservation: Cleaning and conserving the banks (Ghat) of Yamuna River.

4. Street lighting: Improving the street lighting to ensure the safety of residents and visitors.

5. Awareness building: Educating the public on the importance of cleanliness and environmental conservation through various awareness campaigns and activities.

The goal of the campaign is to maintain the sanctity and cleanliness of the holy town and preserve its cultural and spiritual heritage for future generations.

We need funds to run the "Clean Vrindavan" campaign so we request you support us to make this initiative successful.
